This special concert celebrates the enduring and vast musical legacy of Miles Davis -- from mid-century modern jazz classics to latter-20th-century Davis hits. Featuring new arrangements of Miles Davis classics and songs celebrating the spirit of Miles, the Quartet leaves plenty of room for fresh in-the-moment innovation.

Miles & More: A 90th Birthday Celebration of Miles Davis
On the heels of the release of their acclaimed, nationally-charting album, Haiku, Jenny Maybee (piano, vocals) and Nick Phillips (trumpet) return to The Sound Room with a special concert celebrating the enduring and vast musical legacy of Miles Davis -- from mid-century modern jazz classics to latter-20th-century Davis hits. Phillips is also the producer of numerous Miles Davis reissue releases, including the new 11-LP vinyl box set, Miles Davis: The Complete Prestige 10-Inch LP Collection, that's scheduled for release in May 2016, also in celebration of the 90th anniversary of Davis' birth.
